Judge Rules Against Gender-Neutral Bathrooms, Immediately Constructs a 'Gender-Fluid' Lavatory in Chambers

December 30, 2024
In a stunning display of judicial irony, Judge Theodore 'Ted' Worthington, a staunch opponent of gender-neutral restrooms, ruled against a local school district's proposal to install them. His ruling, a 78-page document peppered with Latin phrases and questionable historical references, cited concerns about 'potential societal collapse' and the 'unnatural mingling of plumbing fixtures.' However, just hours after the ruling was released, a curious construction crew was seen entering Judge Worthington's chambers.

Sources inside the courthouse report that the judge, deeply concerned about the 'lack of convenient and aesthetically pleasing facilities for all,' has personally overseen the construction of a lavish, gender-fluid restroom in his office. Described by one source as a 'lavish oasis of self-expression,' the restroom boasts rainbow-colored sinks, a selection of artisanal soaps, and a 'gender-neutral' urinal, which, according to courthouse insiders, is 'more of a highly-polished, chrome sculpture than a functional toilet.'

'He insists it transcends gender,' whispered a cleaning lady who requested anonymity. 'He calls it the 'Chromatic Chamber of Relief.' Apparently, it even features ambient whale song and mood lighting.'

Legal experts are baffled. 'It's unprecedented,' said Professor Quentin Quibble, a leading expert in judicial hypocrisy. 'This is the first time I've seen a judge actively undermine his own ruling... with a bespoke, gender-bending bathroom. It's... art. Or maybe just elaborate trolling.'

The school district is planning to appeal, but their lawyers are currently preoccupied trying to figure out how to get an invite to the 'Chromatic Chamber of Relief' grand opening. Judge Worthington has remained silent on the matter, presumably busy perfecting his zen garden in the adjacent meditation room (also reportedly equipped with a bidet).
